Writing a Press Release

The press release should be written in a certain manner so that it can attract the masses but there are some specific templates and tips one should follow in order to spread a meaningful information about the product through the press release.

The writer should not impart an impression of selling or advertising some product rather it should give an impression of providing some useful and meaningful information to the media and general public in an effective way. Above all ,the writer can go through the  press releases already written by other writers to have an idea about the template and basic parameters they should follow while writing a press release.

To startoff, writer should summarize the entire story in the starting few lines to give a reader an impact of having an information rather than an advertisement. It is usually called as the body of the article and it must contains the queries like who, why, what, where etc.The body of the article should contain specific words, maximum 500 and minimum 100 words. It would be better to provide the hyperlinks in the body.

Once a writer is done with the body of the article, some information about the company must be added in a brief manner then. The information may contain history, background, product details, services provided by the company, location etc.

The headings and titles should be mentioned in uppercase or atleast kept bold.Spacing between the lines increases the readibilty and leaves a good impression on reader’s mind.It grabs attention of the reader and above all it plays a vital role especially when it comes to SEO (search engine optimization).

The last paragraph of the article should be written like making a conclusion. It should not be written in a comprehensive manner rather 4-5 lines just. Every writer should adopt a certain template while writing a press release and must not forget to mention the following facts at the end like
